CCB Launches the Interactive Service Mechanism for the Circum-Bohai Sea Region

On August 22, the CCB Headquarters held in Tianjin the workshop on business interaction in the Circum-Bohai Sea Region participated in by delegates from CCB’s Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shandong, Dalian and Qingdao branches. President Chang Zhenming, Vice President Luo Zhefu, Vice President Chen Zuofu and other related executives of the Headquarters attended the meeting. At the workshop the branches in the region are required to unify their thinking, seize opportunities, strengthen interaction, effectively consolidate resources, exercise intensive business operation, develop an interactive service and marketing model with fairly strong competitiveness, raise the bank’s overall service capacity, better meet the demands for financial services of corporate customers under the circumstances of cross-regional operation, build the Circum-Bohai Sea Region into a business forerunner and key area and comprehensively improve their competitiveness and value-adding capacity.

The workshop is CCB’s another important event on regional cooperation following its similar meetings for the Pearl River Delta, old northeast industrial base and western development. As Beijing promotes the “Headquarters economy and Olympics economy”, Tianjin launches the strategy of developing the New Seaside Region and China formulates a series of policies of enhancing the economic and trade cooperation with Japan and South Korea, the economic cooperation and development in the Circum-Bohai Sea Region has been pushed into a new stage, which creates vast business opportunities for CCB. To that end, during the meeting it is pointed out that the branches in the region should strengthen cooperation, establish an effective regional interaction system, an interest coordination system and an information sharing system and provide sound institutional guarantee. Meanwhile, the Headquarters will also develop greater favorable policies for the Circum-Bohai Sea Region in the fields of economic capital, HR allocation, technology input, financial support and product innovation so as to ensure the coordinated development of various business in this region.
