Important Notice of CCB: Guard against mobile phone short message fraud

On July 13, with the help of Ningde branch of CCB, Fujian, Xiamen police cracked down a mobile phone short message fraud case in which the criminals pretended to be the security guards of the branch and defrauded depositor of RMB50, 000. Two suspects have been arrested.
To prevent similar cases, CCB issues a special notice:
1. No CCB staff will ever ask our customers about their passwords or require capital transfer. If you receive any mobile phone short message which is sent in the name of CCB staff, requires you to change the bankcard password and offers a contact telephone number, please contact the 95533 customer service center for confirmation.
2. If you have to change your bankcard passwords, please do it at the CCB business outlets or at the bank’s self-service equipment without any need of providing information about the balance of your account.
3. If you have other questions, please go to the CCB counter or dial 95533 for enquiry.
4. Please take good care of your bankcards and passwords so as to avoid loss of your personal properties. CCB will take effective measures to provide our customers with quality, efficient, safe and convenient services. In case of any of the above occasions please notify us in time.
