China Eastern Airlines has long been one of the major strategic partners of CCB. After 2002 CCB once again joined hands with Eastern Airlines Group, granting the latter annual overall credit limit and establishing a strategic partnership.

According to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, CCB will give precedence to providing Eastern Airlines with various Renminbi and foreign currency financing products including Renminbi and foreign currency short-term loan, long and medium-term loan, bill acceptance and discount, trade financing and overdraft account to meet temporary capital need and offer prime rates according to related policies. Compared wit similar products on the Chinese market, it has three advantages. During his speech Chang Zhenming, President of CCB, noted over more than a decade CCB and Eastern Airlines have been conducting extensive and in-depth business cooperation and established mutual trust. CCB will follow the “customer-oriented” business philosophy to improve financial service capacity and provide Eastern Airlines, as always, with comprehensive financial support.
