The “Care for Women - CCB Cup on Chinese Family Wealth Management Educational Campaign” Is Formally Launched

How do you raise the quality of your life via family wealth management? How do you use the right wealth management skills to plan for your life and accumulate wealth via wealth management so as to enjoy an easy life? On July 19, 2006, to raise the sense of wealth management of modern women, help them develop the scientific wealth management concepts, spread wealth management knowledge among Chinese families and build reasonable consumption models, the “Care for Women - CCB Cup on Chinese Family Wealth Management Educational Campaign” was launched jointly by CCB and the “Care for the Newlywed” organizing committee composed of the Chinese Marriage and Family Research Institute, the Publicity and Educational Department of the National Population and Family Planning Commission, China Association of Social Workers of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Chinese Society of Family Education in the Great Hall of the People. More than 200 delegates, including the officials of the All-China Women’s Federation, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Population and Family Planning Commission and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the wealth management experts of the “Care for” activities organizing committee, officials of the women workers department of more than 20 key cities, representatives of the superstar housewives and white-collar housewives and journalists attended the event.

 

An official of the All-China Women’s Federation first of all delivered a speech, elaborating the significance of the Chinese family wealth management educational campaign. Officials of the organizing committee announced the implementation plan of the “Care for Women - CCB Cup on Chinese Family Wealth Management Educational Campaign”. Later the officials and the women representatives unveiled the mascot of the campaign, a cute golden pig save-all. Two children took the notes on which the wealth management wishes of women representatives were written to the stage and the officials put the notes into the pig save-all, hoping that this campaign would help realize their wealth management dreams. The “Care for Women - CCB Cup on Chinese Family Wealth Management Educational Campaign” was officially launched. During the event, the officials also sent the CCB Cup Chinese Family Wealth Management Manual to the women representatives. Invited by the organizing committee, popular stars also presented artistic performance for the audience.

 

After the launch ceremony, the wealth management experts gave the first open lecture entitled Manage Your Wealth Wisely and Enjoy a Colorful Life, explaining the concept of wealth management, how to choose wealth management products and manage risks. According to the experts, wealth management means managing your wealth, income and expenditure wisely, maintaining and increasing the value of your assets and realizing the objectives of your life. The core of wealth management is to maximize the return on investment and minimize risks. Wise housewives are the key to successful family wealth management since in many families they have the final say on family wealth.

 

It is said that the family wealth management educational campaign will be held in three stages. In the first stage, 50 mobile courses on family wealth management in forms of expert lectures, interactive games, seminars and saloon will be held to teach women the knowledge of wealth management. Meanwhile, a survey on wealth management will be conducted among 1 million women. 1 million copies of CCB Cup Chinese Family Wealth Management Manual will be disseminated among women in 10 major cities. With simple language and vivid examples, the book is designed to help women better understand and experience the joy of wealth management.  

 

The campaign which is launched in July 2006 aims at spreading family wealth management knowledge, building family wealth management concept, teaching wealth management skills, creating a beautiful life for every Chinese family and making the families more harmonious, stable and happier.

 

Notes:

1. The “Care for the Newlywed” campaign is jointly launched by the Chinese Marriage and Family Research Institute, the Publicity and Educational Department of the National Population and Family Planning Commission, China Association of Social Workers of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Chinese Society of Family Education. Therefore it is not correct to just mention the All-China Women’s Federation or the “Care for the Newlywed” organizing committee of the All-China Women’s Federation. The right way to say it should be the “Care for the Newlywed” organizing committee composed of the Chinese Marriage and Family Research Institute, the Publicity and Educational Department of the National Population and Family Planning Commission, China Association of Social Workers of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Chinese Society of Family Education.
