Recently, our clerks in Wushan County Subbranch, Tianshui Branch in Gansu, successfully captured a robber carrying an ax with their bravery, courage and wisdom. They ensured the safety of the national property.

At 16:27, October 7, a man carrying an ax entered the service hall of Wushan County Subbranch and then started smashing the bullet-proof glass over the counter with his ax. Facing the emergent situation, the on-duty clerk dialed 110 and called the police immediately. The man smashed a 51*43 centigram hole. To protect the national property, Wang Wu took immediate action to put the money into the box and move the money out to a safe place. During the process of transferring the money, the side door was stuck by the broke glass and could not be closed. The robber rushed into the office and took the remaining RMB 63,000 into his bag and ran away. Wang Wu encountered the robber on his way back to the office. The robber was rushing up to the second-floor stairs. The robber swung the ax and chased Wang. To escape the attack, Wang fell into the first floor and was seriously injured. The robber escaped from the service hall. Having heard the alarms, Liu Bing, the on-duty head of the sub-branch and the clerks who were taking break arrived at the hall and started to chase the robber. The robber was finally caught and handed him to the police.

The clerks in the sub-branch demonstrated their solidarity, fearlessness, bravery and ethics in the fight against robbery as well as their ability to handle emergent situation. They were highly spoken of by local government, the higher agency, media and the people.

In recent years, CCB strengthened training over the front-end clerks in terms of security and skills, which has improved their ability to handle emergencies and strengthened the construction of infrastructure to ensure the soundness of the infrastructure.
