In order to better satisfy customers’ requirements on investment and wealth management, CCB will introduce to the market the First Phase of “CCB Wealth II” – CICC Close-end RMB Trust Wealth Management Product designed by the a group of top-ranking wealth management specialists on March 15, 2007.

It is known that this phase of investment will mainly take the form of close-end fund, supplemented by convertible bond, short-term bond and subscription of new shares. The anticipated risks and yields of short-term bond are comparatively stable. The returns of investment on the close-end fund, subscription of new shares and convertible bond have some relevance to the trend of stock markets. But such characteristics as the discount gains of the close-end fund, the anti-depreciation of the convertible bond and the difference in the prices of new shares between the primary and secondary markets may effectively increase the yield and mitigate the possible risks.

This product is featured by 12-month entrusted management period, relatively short period of capital occupancy and medium degree of fluidity. The anticipated annual yield is 8%, which indicates higher yields. It belongs to the non-principal-guaranteed floating RMB trust wealth management product. The minimum amount of entrustment is RMB200 thousand. There is no addition function such as pledge. In order to guarantee the benefits of investors, CCB may terminate this wealth management plan in advance according to the policies governing the conversion close-end fund into open-end fund. The investors do no rights to terminate it in advance.

The investors as a group are the beneficiaries of the trust. The investors may share the beneficiary’s rights as well as risks in proportion to their subscription amounts.
