More Awards for CCB Mobile Phone Bank

Lately, in “The Most Popular Mobile Phone Bank Survey” hosted by “3g” portal, the largest WAP website in China, CCB’s mobile phone bank was bestowed with more honours: it won the “Most Popular Mobile Phone Banking Brand Name Award” and the “Safest Mobile Phone Bank Award”, while its mobile phone to mobile phone transfer function grabbed the title of the “Most Distinguishing Mobile Phone Banking Function Award”.

Winners of this assessment activity were decided entirely by users through internet voting and ranking was determined by the number of votes obtained.  The results of the assessment were true and fair and reflected objectively the high opinions of the public for CCB’s mobile phone banking services.

Ever since its mobile phone banking services was launched in 2004, CCB has been insistent in embracing a “customer-focussed” business concept.  With the supports of advanced back-office system and technology, it has been audacious in adopting innovations and is now providing it customers with almost a hundred types of financial services under 10 categories such as “Enquiry Services”, “Transfers and Remittances”, “Mobile Phone Stock Trading”, “Financial Management”, “Fee Payments” and “Credit Cards”.  In addition, it has created distinguishing functions including “Mobile Phone to Mobile Phone Transfers”, “Mobile Phone Interbank Transfers” and “Mobile Phone Stock Trading” and “Mobile Pone Fund Transactions”.

CCB’s mobile phone banking was first in the banking sector in engaging simultaneous China’s two major mobile phone operators—China Mobile and China Unicom.  Thus enabled with country-wide operations and country-wide roaming, it allows the multitude of its customers the convenience and efficiency of “effecting transfers and transactions at all times and from all places, and making financial management possible irrespective of time-space constraints”.  With its comprehensive functions, user-friendly operations and promptness of services, CCB’s mobile phone banking is gradually becoming another "in" choice in financial management for its customers.

As of December 2007, the number of CCB mobile phone banking accounts has reached almost two million, and is now growing at a rapid rate of almost 10% a month on the average.
