China Construction Bank (“CCB” or the “Bank”) has recently developed a logistics-focus capital settlement platform system successfully and launched the "Universal Settlement Service” in accordance to the system.  From 21 April 2008, the service is officially put in practice throughout China.

According to the Bank, this business service not only offers a range of functions including cash deposits and withdrawals, contract signing, card replacement, enquiry, transactions payment, loss and withdrawals of loss, change and reset password, frozen accounts, deposits deduction, withdrawal of frozen accounts, accounts clearance etc, other services span also consists of reinforcing the protection of upper and lower stream customers, capital settlement, flexible payment, business opportunities think-tank, transaction capital allocation and management.  Particularly worth mentioning is the overdraft contingency services, clients’ roaming service and other value-added services regulated by CCB will be provided to clients in accordance to their points in their accounts.  Clients can sign up and opt for functions such as joint-account protection, fixed automatic deposits deduction, fixed payment by payee, fixed monthly payment and “transaction capital management”.

The newly launched CCB’s "Universal Settlement Service" business can assist clients in building up an idea of maximizing the usage of cards, minimizing cash flow and enhancing settlement efficiency.  It effectively prevents the potential risk of theft in cash transaction and allows the customers to experience the benefits of "Making Secured & Trouble-free Payments with CCB's Universal Settlement Service Card". To reward clients, CCB has introduced a series of promotional activities.  For customers who have signed up for "Universal Settlement Service" between April 21 and July 31 2008 will have their annual fee waived and it is CCB’s core aim to offer the maximum benefits to its customers.  CCB is keen to welcome customers in signing up for this service, and experience the efficiency, payment flexibility, security and reasonably priced offered by "Universal Settlement Service".
