2007 CCB Annual Report Wins the Platinum Award on Appraisals by LACP

In regard of the selection of the “Vision Award” on the appraisals of 2007 annual reports by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), 2007 Annual Report of CCB is granted the 18th place in consolidated rankings and is No. 1 both in respect of global banking and China enterprises, representing improved ranking by 76 places. Meanwhile, regarding appraisals for the trade of banking and the category of single awards, CCB has won both the No. 1 “Platinum Award for Banking (Asian region)” and the Gold Award of “the Best Letter to Shareholders”.

 

The “Vision Award” for the appraisal of annual reports by LACP, which is one of the most renowned appraisal of annual reports in the trade of banking, has been run for 7 years in succession. Its judge panel is composed of non-interested, full-time employed, experienced media professionals. They will conduct all-round appraisals of the annual reports of enterprises in respect to their book covers, letters to shareholders, texts of reports, financial sections, innovative aspects, clarity of representations and provision of key messages. CCB’s annual report in 2007 has got a score of 98 marks (appraisals are based on 100 marks) and has achieved full marks in the single item appraisals of “book cover, letters to shareholders, texts of reports, financial sections, innovative aspects, clarity of representations and provision of key messages”.

 

It is learned that a total of 3000 enterprises from more than 20 countries have participated in the appraisals of the current year’s annual reports.
