On the morning of June 30, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held the Conference on the 85^th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and the education campaign to preserve the advanced nature of the members of the Communist Party of China in Beijing. Li Xiangdang, as the representative of national excellent CPC member and the only such representative of the financial sector attended the conference and received the award from the hand of CPC leaders. It is an honor not only of Li Xiangdang but also of all the party members and staffs of CCB.

Li is 37 years old and joined the CPC in July 1999. He is the founder of the “Xiangdang work station” of the corporate cultural office, business department, Xinjiang branch, CCB. Serving CCB for more than a decade, Li is well known for his diligence and respect for work and has accumulated unique working experience and service skills. The “Xiangdang work station” named after him has become a service brand of CCB. Li has processed over 400,000 pieces of business with a daily average of 160 pieces, including RMB547 million of deposits with a daily average of RMB15.19. In the more than 1,600 business reports formulated by him there is no single number mistake, breach of rules or valid customer complaint, which is a miracle for counter services. Li also initiates the service model of “being enthusiastic and hospitable” and develops customer-tailored and differentiated service skills. Giving priority to the needs of customers, he in turn wins full reorganization from customers. As a CPC member, Li always plays the role of vanguard and model, faithfully practices the customer-centric business philosophy, strives to improve team services with his own efforts and builds the financial brand of “Xiangdang work station”. The CPC committee of the CCB headquarters and the CPC committee of CCB Xinjiang branch have made the decision of following the good example of Li Xiangdang and the “Xiangdang work station”. Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region personally inscribed the name for the “Xiangdang work station”. In 2005, the “Xiangdang work station” trademark was registered in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and became a financial service brand. The campaign of “following the good example of Li Xiangdang as well as the colleagues around you” is held among all the CCB staffs and a number of service models like “Hongmei wealth management model” and “He Xiao working method” have emerged, which further raises the sound corporate image of CCB. Over the past more than one decade, Li Xiangdang has received numerous honorary titles including the “Ten Outstanding Youths” and “Excellent CPC Member” from the CCB, the “Young Skillful Staff” and the “Top Ten Staffs with Best Professional Ethics” from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the “Excellent Communist Youth League Member” of the national financial sector, the national “Young Skillful Staff”, the national “May Day Labor Medal”, “May 4 Youth Medal” and “National Labor Model”. He is also elected as the representative to the 16^th CPC National Congress.

The CCB calls on all its party members and staffs to follow the good example of Li Xiangdang, carefully implement the important thought of “Three Represents” and the scientific concept of development, practice the customer-oriented business philosophy, keep improving services, operation and management, work hard to advance the reform with higher working standards and stronger sense of mission and responsibility, comprehensively increase the competitiveness of CCB and make new contributions to building CCB into a leading international modern shareholding commercial bank.
