At 9:00 am, May 19, 2008, China Construction Bank holds its 10^th conference of the board of directors, discussing and passing the supplemental proposal to donate 20 million RMB to the earthquake stricken areas of Sichuan. The relief funds was delivered to the government of Sichuan province by president Zhang Jianguo on May 13, on behalf of CCB. Before the conference convenes, all participants observe a minute of silence to pay respect to the victims of the earthquake disaster in Sichuan.
