Dear Customer,

DuitNow 2.0 is now available and consisting of the following services: 
a. DuitNow Debit Consent;
b. DuitNow Request; and
c. DuitNow Online Banking.

(hereinafter referred to as “Services”)

The Bank will auto-enable abovesaid Services for you. For the time being, these services are provided for your usage without incurring additional charge / fee until further notice. You may find the details of the Services as follow:

a. DuitNow Debit Consent – To allow the Merchant to set up an auto-debit in your account for a specific date and amount over a period of time upon giving your approval via Internet Banking the Bank. [Eg. M Sdn Bhd (Merchant) sent you a debit consent application to your Internet Banking, for your approval (Payer) to debit specific amount over 24 months.]

b. DuitNow Request – To allow a third party to send a one-off debit request to debit the money in your account after you have provided the approval to the Bank via Internet Banking, or you could send a DuitNow Request to a third party to request for the funds collection. [Eg. M Sdn Bhd (Merchant) sent you a DuitNow request to your Internet Banking, for your approval (Payer) to debit one-off payment or you (Receiver) sent a DuitNow Request to your supplier (payment bank must have DuitNow 2.0 capability) to ask for a payment.]

c. DuitNow Online Banking – This function is similar to FPX. It allows the payment gateway to make online purchases / bill payments via the website and you can pay through your Internet Banking. [Eg. You log in to M Sdn Bhd Portal to make a payment, you select China Construction Bank (M) Berhad and it will route you to CCB Internet Banking website to proceed with payment.]
